Bus Stop Sales & Service is very proud to announce the delivery of its 100th Yutong bus in Australia during early May 2017.

Since its formation in January 2014, Bus Stop Sales & Service has quickly grown to become one of Australia’s largest suppliers of new and used buses and coaches. The company headed up by Director Pete White and supported by his father Dick White, delivered its first Yutong in March 2014 to a Western Queensland mining operator.

Director Pete White reflected on the growth of his company and stated “The partnership between Yutong Australia and Bus Stop Sales & Service continues to flourish and both companies strive to deliver the best value and support buses for their customers. We look forward to strengthening this relationship in the future for the benefit of our customers”.

The 100th vehicle, a new Yutong 39 Passenger School/Charter Coach, was delivered to Brisbane-based operator Charter Services Qld on Tuesday 9 May 2017. It is the customer’s fifth Yutong vehicle overall – having initially purchased two second hand vehicles before upgrading them with three brand new models.

Charter Services Qld Managing Director Jeff Osborne, is a great advocate of the Yutong brand and has been very pleased not only with the quality of the product and value for money – but also the unrivalled after sales support and parts availability.

Mr Osborne said “Unlike others, the Bus Stop Sales & Service team strive to support my bus operations in every way, every day. The Yutong bus is by far the best value on the market today”.

To celebrate the milestone, Yutong Australia General Manager Neil Wang travelled to Brisbane to participate in the festivities at Bus Stop’s Archerfield sales and service facility.

Mr Wang said “This milestone reflects the industry leading sales and customer partnership programs that the Bus Stop team has implemented across its Australia dealerships locations”.

  • A Third New Yutong Coach For Clarris

    Thursday 1st January 2009

Phil and Kaylene Clarris of Wandoan in Queensland, have taken on their third Yutong during August 2014 – with the delivery of another ‘mine spec’ 51 seat coach through vehicle dealers, Bus Stop Brisbane.

Having been so impressed with the reliability and standard features of the Yutong product range, the Clarris’ knew exactly what they wanted when there was a need for another vehicle to meet their growing requirements. This new 51 seater is the Clarris’ third Yutong – joining another 51 seater and a 39 seater which were delivered earlier in the year.

The Bus Stop Brisbane Team would like to thank and congratulate Phil and Kaylene Clarris for their third Yutong purchase.

  • All aboard the Yutong coach for Bell City

    Thursday 1st January 2009

Bus Stop Brisbane has secured the delivery of two brand new 39-passengers Yutong midi coaches to the Bell City Hotel at Preston, north of the Melbourne CBD.

The Asian Pacific Group, owners of the Bell City Hotel, identified the Yutong product range as the best option available on the market. The need for two brand new coaches is to support the hotel’s permanent occupants in transiting between their residence and local universities.

Bus Stop Brisbane Vehicle Sales Manager Pete White was excited by the prospect of another two Yutongs for the state of Victoria. “There are already a handful of these buses in the state as we speak, and they’ve developed such a positive reputation in a seemingly short period of time”, he said. “It’s great to see another two enter the state”.

  • Two new Yutong mine spec buses for P & K Clarris

    Thursday 1st January 2009

Phil and Kaylene Clarris, school bus and mine service providers in Wandoan (north of Miles), have selected Yutong’s popular 39 and 51 seat models for their burgeoning operation in the Western Downs region.

Having operated buses for almost 21 years, it has only been in recent times that the Clarris’ have focused on booming mine operations in the local region. From a single school bus in recent years, the delivery of two quality Yutong coaches will bring their fleet up to ten vehicles.

The 39 seat and 51 seat Yutong mine spec coaches are constructed with world leading vehicle componentry, including Cummins engines from the United Kingdom, Allison transmissions from the United States and Wabco ABS.

Phil and Kaylene Clarris have chosen Styleride’s popular ‘Orion’ seating for their 39 seat and also a set of Bright’s bull bars as a finishing touch on both models.

The 39 seat leads the way in the midi coach category with its powerful 250hp Cummins ISB (UK) engine while the 51 seat with its 360hp Cummins ISL (UK) engine has more horsepower than any of its competitors.

  • Yutong Y.E.S. BUS Coach Electrocoating Standard

    Thursday 1st January 2009

When you hold the title of the World’s Largest Bus Manufacturer you begin to set benchmarks for your competitors to follow.

A great example of this is the patented Yutong Electrocoating Standard (Y.E.S.), which combines a number of anti-corrosion solutions to ensure all Yutong manufactured vehicles can endure the harshest of operating conditions worldwide.

The electrocoating solution combines the use of 16 processes to completely enhance anti-rust performance and increase service life and durability of the vehicle. Through a $AU 75 million investment in April 2008, Yutong partnered with German-based automotive production company, DÜRR, to produce the system which has become paramount to Yutong’s manufacturing.

The fully automatic and freely programmable heavy duty overhead crane system transports the bus bodies from 6 to 14m in length, which weigh up to 7.5 tons each, from tank to tank through the complete process. With seven cranes in operation, 6.7 units per hour can be coated. An oven follows with a heating system that allows all six curing chambers to be operated independently so as to optimize energy management.

The corrosion protection coating can withstand the effects of 1,000 hours of salt water with no difficulty whatsoever.
